Times Square

Known as “The Crossroads of the World,” Times Square dazzles with neon lights, massive digital billboards, and nonstop energy at the junction of Broadway and Seventh Avenue (from 42nd to 47th Streets). As the heart of the Broadway Theater District, it draws over 50 million visitors annually and remains one of the busiest pedestrian intersections on the planet.

Day or night, the square buzzes with excitement and entertainment, massive digital billboards, myriad Broadway theaters and hundreds of pedestrians. It is best known for the annual New Year's Eve ball drop, where thousands gather to ring in the new year. A large portion of it has been transformed into a pedestrian zone, where impromptu performances, photographers and costumed  characters all compete for your attention.
